The Saints, an Australian rock band formed in Brisbane in 1973 by Chris Bailey, Ivor Hay, and Ed Kuepper, were pioneers of punk rock. Known for their fast tempos and "buzzsaw" guitar sound, they gained international recognition with their debut single "(I'm) Stranded" in 1976. The band achieved UK chart success with "This Perfect Day" in 1977. Despite lineup changes, The Saints continued to influence the music scene.
